Not Being Supported and also being Isolated

Just got to Japan on Friday.

I am having a terrible time with the apartment process. The university did not offer my any housing until the very end when I had already completed the process with an apartment, though I will not get the keys until next week. I am staying at a dorm room which does not have Wi-Fi. I need to enroll for the Japanese leveling course, but I have not been given my student ID, so I cannot enroll. The nearest convenience store is about 20 minutes away and I was told that to get a bike I needed to go through a some sort of introduction, so I do not own one.

I speak intermediate Japanese, but I do not understand their products.

Any help?
