My version of harassment

I thought i’d share my own version of harassment to help and inform others before they dip their pinky in the pond. I do understand where we are all coming from, as to why we even started checking all these online apps in the first place.

Ang hirap ng buhay and we need to survive but if we go to the bank, they would ask heaps of requirements and would even take ages pero we need the money asap. Thus, when we see online lending apps and get approved, we didn’t even bother checking the interest and better yet, the service fee. And we cannot blame ourselves for not doing so, as we need the money. Thereafter, once we are in the shit game, we get into tapal system, which is more of like a “fortuitous event” kind of because it is something though foreseen, is still inevitable😭😰 jokes. but seriously speaking, tapal system is too difficult to comprehend because even if we are fully aware of it, and wanting to leave totally, the system does not help us in any way because we have to pay and we are so afraid to be posted online and with all their other means of harassing us.

Heads up lang. From my own experience.

**THE DECENT ONES:

  1. Mega Peso (ios) the green and orange one, with CEIMARJJ on it - sobrang decent nila maningil. yung ikaw ang mahihiya if you don’t pay them. they send you an email a day before as a simple reminder lang. then on the day, reminder lang din. walang harassment in any form whatsoever. walang call.

  2. Mabilis Cash (iOS) the blue one - same kay mega peso. decent. reminder lang.

*THE SUPER EVIL ONES:

  1. Prima Loan / Prima Fintech (iOS) the one with the letter “p” and a yellow dot - please whatever you do, or however desperate we are, do not borrow from this company. 2 days pa lang before ng due date, sobra ng harassment. andun imessage contacts, meron ipost ka sa buy and sell, with your ID nung nag apply ka and your live photo nung initial application mo.

and the new bit, someone claiming from their company, sent me a message with their preferred method of payment - gave me a bank details and told me not to pay them in any other method especially the qr code link from their app. eh dahil makulit ako, and i want to easily pay them, i paid via QR code generated from their app - next thing i know, minumura na ko ng sobra sobra, and said to me na ipopost na daw talaga nila ako at pokpok daw ako and so many other terms i didn’t even know existed😵‍💫

So, sa aking mga kapatid sa pinagdadaanan, we just need to be strong. To focus on being able to pay all our debts somehow. Mahirap ang buhay pero always, may pag asa. We need to learn to ignore and feel nothing, hindi naman tayo tumatakbo, sobra lang talaga maningil ang ibang online lending. i don’t know if it’s even right to blame the agents kasi sila nagpapadala ng messages, pero syempre sumusunod lang sila and syempre, need nila sumweldo pero they can still be considered part of it. I even knew someone from our city who committed suicide because of these OLA apps, pero syempre, sino hahabulin ng pamilya nila?! and syempre, marami pa rin gumagamit, like myself.

nakakabwisit. nakakagalit. nakakaka-degrade ng pagkatao. all we can do now is just to stay strong mga kapatid. and if kayanin, unti-unti man, kumawala na sa kanila. God will help us. and we can also help ourselves. matagal man, we will get there.

Keep safe out there everyone! see you at the end of the road.
