Just a what-if

In the last episode of season 2, when Yuuri was gonna jump into that portal and supposedly "never come back" Wolf cried during that scene, is it just me or do ya'll think that Yuuri could've at least secretly shed a tear or two in that scene without just leaving with a "goodbye"?
