Cows, moccasins, mothers, and social media

Movie where a girl with no shoes befriends a boy with moccasins, gets swindled into buying a sick calf that dies, boys mother uses calf hide to make the girl her own pair of moccasins.

My mother saw a clip of this on social media and decided to ask me about it instead of checking the comments and of course can't find the post anymore.
