Anyone interested in doing a sub which isn’t a constant barrage of promotional of promotional posts?

I thought this sub was created by consumers of or those curious about Korean procedures, injections, trends who weren’t affiliated with a clinic, product, site to purchase products, procedures, physicians.

Unfortunately, the site creator and/or mod has seems to have created a place where sales and promotions are the norm.

I don’t see much evidentiary value here.

Can I create such a sub? No. I have to ears to the ground in the Gangnam district abd don’t live in Korea. My concern is the popularity of Korean anything beauty related is at such a fever pitch that the overwhelming amount of money to be made is too tempting to resist. Competition is causing people to engage in all manner of unethical practices. I might not be surprised if money is exchanged as this is a site known for its honest referrals , and any sales business knows that’s the most powerful “pitch”.

Lots of word salad and my friend works at xyz as a physician bs and no peer reviewed statistically significant double blind control studies w many subjects that cover a wide spectrum of people. Btw - if you’re looking for no conflicts of interest in terms of funding g such studies you’re a bit naive about the expense. In the US, FDA approval is given when studies are funded partially by the drug company but carried out through respected university research programs. They won’t get done otherwise. Also, head to head data (magnificent!) is rarer than it should be. Unless a company is that confident that their efficacy won’t be impacted by their increased side effects or adverse events vs their competitor, nah, why bother. It’s well known but not an actual proven hypothesis that the more effective the drug is the greater the adverse events. Many a an effective, breakthrough medication has also a black box warning. Oh well - got off track.

I don’t know that I’ll bother w the what do you guys think bc of the enormous presence of ppl who want to refute everything I’ve said.

I know there are several people who’ve noticed based on their answers. I think consumers are leaving and soon it will be sales selling to one another and a few naive types. My hope is that those last guys will read this and seek out additional information to make informed choices.

My point again - is it possible to get an honest sub going with strict moderators with unassailable integrity? I would welcome it. There are some subs about stuff like this which haven’t been ruined by influencers hired by Korean sites to hand out affiliate codes to save money. They’re private and should be hidden and very strictly ban any promotion. One is the beauty of science - come if you have a background in medicine (physician to bsn) and science (chem micro bio pharma etc). It’s some diy so m not fir you guys anyway but it deep dives into everything and scrutinizes via scientific methodology .
