possible ba talaga ang “organic hire” sa government kahit walang backer?

Hi! I just wanted to ask for some advice regarding government hiring.

I recently passed the Civil Service Exam and I’m currently working as a Contract of Service (COS) employee in a national agency. Unfortunately, the work environment has been quite toxic, so I’ve been trying to apply to other government offices.

I’ve submitted multiple applications and usually make it to the interview stage, but I still haven’t received any offers. It’s starting to make me wonder if possible ba talaga ang “organic hire” sa government kahit walang backer?

I also have an upcoming exam with OADR, but I’m honestly hesitant to go through with it since I don’t have any connections. 😅

Would you recommend I keep trying within government, or start considering opportunities in the private/corporate sector?

Any advice, insights, or similar experiences would really help. Thank you!
