What are some dungeons I should visit and people I should talk to upgrade my gear and discover new artifacts, BUT don't tell me what artifacts/gear exist where. Just give me a person/dungeon name and vague hints. READ DESC.

New Player - Advice/Help

Former Devout Morrowind Hater here. In most recent news for my first real Morrowind playthrough, I felt as though I wasn't weak but totally under leveled and it just felt super iffy when I SHOULD be fighting some people at a level that rivals theirs. My solution was to powerlevel.

However, after reading many threads and noticing the game became significantly less enjoyable, seeing I could fly like superman for little to no effort, I went back around to before I did it, which cut around 10 hours off of my run, but I don't mind. I don't want to quit like I did with Oblivion. After going back, I am level 12, Post-Corprus, BUT NOT CURED.

So now, I'm going to focus some hours on upgrading, because my beautiful, beloved Steel Halberd just isn't cutting it anymore. Problem? I have no damn clue where any better gear is, and I'm not paying a ton-o-gold I don't have.

So, I would like for some of you veterans here to point me in the direction of specific dungeons and persons of interest, but don't tell me what gear is where. And if an NPC points you towards a possible dungeon/artifact, DON'T TELL ME THE WHERE THE DUNGEON IS! JUST GIVE A HINT AS TO WHERE AN NPC MIGHT BE FOUND! If a dungeon has gear or an artifact but you are not ever directed to it by an NPC and are just expected to find it, (For example, Skyrim's Frostflow Lighthouse quest which is unmarked,) give me directions to it the same way an NPC would, such as "Down the road, to the right, then up those stairs!"

For example, don't say "Glass Halberd is in Dungeon 2 behind a locked door", or "Clavicus Vile's artifact is in Balmorra under a hidden trapdoor."

As it pertains to this topic, my character is an Argonian with a custom class named Firebreather. I am soon to join House Telvanni with... vain hopes of making it more ethical, and I will try to avoid specific Daedric Quests that would be, most likely evil. Please don't send me on a goose chase to a Molag Bal shrine. I might be mildly upset but exploring is cool.

The skills to my class go as this:

Speciality: Combat

Majors: Heavy Armor, Spear, Restoration, Destruction, Armorer

Minor Skills: Conjuration, Mysticism, Alteration, Enchanting, Athletics.
