was chapter 4 unger supposed to be hard?

i'm not trying to be a dick i swear, i just beat it and was kind of weirded out by how short it was so i looked it up on google, but apparently people are calling this chapter bs and even lowering the game's difficulty to go through it. i beat it first try on hard, i didn't even know what i was doing i just threw grenades and shot with my rifle and when i got low i hid and ate a cryptobiote.
