Which student laptop for my budget ? (1500€)

HI ! Just as I said in the title, I'm looking for a laptop under 1500€ ! I'm living in France so that's the reason for € part x)

Anyway ! So I just bought an Asus Zenbook S14 2 days ago and it should arrive in 2 days ! But the sad thing is that I regret it so I'll just refuse the package, they will send it back and I'll get a refund. Why ? Because I saw a LOT of reviews from people saying they got a lot of issues with it after 6-8 months with this model.

I'm a student who needs a laptop now and will need it next year because I'll move to Australia and needs something light and with a good battery.

So I wanted to know if some people have some recommandations ?
