Baby will only accept a dummy in the daytime?

Has anyone else had this? I just find it so funny!

Our 4 week old will accept a dummy for comfort during the day (we always make sure he’s fed and changed etc first so it isn’t masking a different want than comfort).

However 0% success rate at him accepting a dummy for night sleep. He sleeps okay for a typical newborn (a while to settle and then awake every 2-2.5 hours for feeds and nappies). I’ve tried popping it in when hes grunting / unsettled after the wakes but if anything it makes him grumpier and he locks his lips shut in refusal 😂
