A stone covered in dirt and debris

Among other rocks and earth

May hold many secrets inside

Waiting to show its worth

It may take the right conditions

And others to find it to help it shine

True pressure, grit and polish

Even heat for color to be defined

Someone had to believe

That it was more than just a stone

And the Creator knew where to hide it

So one day it would not be alone

And with every new facet cut brilliantly

And ever fllaw left deep inside

The right eyes will see its beauty

So the truth can no longer hide
