Front Camera No Longer Works with Relocation, Need Help
Not, sure if this is the right place to be asking but I recently put on the Rough Country High Winch Mount on my Bronco and also Installed the Camera Relocation Bracket. After I had everything Installed all cameras worked fine. After about a month my front camera decided it doesn't want to work anymore. All the wires and connections still plug in fine, but the front camera does not want to turn on again. When I brought my bronco in for regular recalls and service I wanted to see if they could test if the camera was bad. Just replace it with a working one and tell me if the camera is bad or something else, but they want to charge me almost $200 for an hour of labor, just to swap the camera out and tell me if its bad or not. Literally two screws and unplug it to check. Some manager told me the reason it does not want to work is because of a "sensor" inside the camera that detects its not where its supposed to be and turns off. Wondering if that is actually true or if I should try finding a camera myself and just swapping it.
