What was your first smart home upgrade and was it worth it?
I used to think home automation just meant turning lights on with your phone, but after exploring it more, I realized it is actually about making different parts of your home work together automatically.
For example, lights can turn on when someone enters a room, AC can adjust based on temperature, curtains can close at sunset, and security systems can send alerts instantly.
What I found interesting is that you do not need to automate everything at once. Even starting with one smart bulb or one smart plug gives you a clear idea of how useful it can be.
Curious how other people started — what was your first smart home device?
