Is the "24/7 responsiveness" expected in real estate right now killing your weekends?

Discussion

Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking into the day-to-day workflow for agents lately and I’m super curious about the boundaries (or lack thereof) for you lot right now.

I see so many tech people pushing for "instant bot replies" for leads that come in at 9 PM on a Saturday. But is that actually what clients want, or are we just creating a stressful environment where we can't ever turn off?

For those managing a high volume of portal inquiries, how do you handle the after-hours grind without going insane? Do you force yourself to reply manually, use an automated "I'll call you Monday" message, or just ignore it entirely until business hours?

I'm also curious to hear if there's a specific number of leads where this becomes unmanageable. At what point do you feel like you have to automate or hire help just to keep up with the portals?

Keen to hear how people are balancing this. Cheers!
