game stops working at exact time

So playing synthetic fertility. I get the message to embrace synthetic fertility at around 2225.01. i accept and play the game till 2225.02.15 when it freezes at that exact point. tried rebooting my PC, the game etc. just doesnt move past it. does anyone have any ideas?
