Mt Toubkal footwear April

Climbing Toubkal with a friend next week, have experience in the mountains but this is my first 4000. I’m aware Toubkal is as non technical as it gets, and didn’t want to lug a pair of Nepal cubes up there if I didn’t have to, so was thinking of just wearing Salomon quest 4 gtx instead.

Can someone with more experience tell me if I’m being dense or not please?
