Torn between 3 options
Hey guys!
So i have been researching a lot to buy my first bike. Have taken multiple test rides and have finally shortlisted 3 options-
-
Speed 400
-
Duke 250
-
Speed t4
Now the thing is this will be my first bike and I am planning to keep it for a longer term. I have ridden a scooter for almost 14 years with very little experience with bikes. My use case is- I will be commuting to office (~16kms round trip), weekend rides and short trips(400-500 kms). I am in Bangalore right now so traffic maneuverability is also a factor but I found all 3 of these bikes to be good in that regard. Some people have advised me to avoid speed 400 since its ~40 bhp which is quite a lot of power for a beginner to deal with. I took test rides of all 3 of them and found speed 400 had very sensitive throttle response which I liked but it did feel a little aggressive to me. T4 was also good it felt a bit more “torquey” but it does have that power dose when you pull the throttle a little more. Now duke 250 felt the easiest to handle and bidirectional quick shifter was just 🤌. Now I am really confused right now about what to choose 🥲
A little bit about my driving style- I dont like to ride very aggressively and I am a very defensive rider, I only pull the throttle if I’m certainly sure that I am going to find open road. Please help me finalise a bike🙏
