To all the seniors 3rd or 4th year, should i join VIT Pune ENTC

Hey everyone

I’m planning to join ENTC at VIT Pune this year through JEE Mains and I really need some honest guidance from seniors (especially 3rd/4th year students or recent pass-outs).

I’m not looking for brochure answers — I want real experiences.

🔹 How are the placements for ENTC? (average, highest, and realistic expectations)

🔹 Do good companies actually visit, or mostly mass recruiters?

🔹 Can ENTC students realistically shift to IT/software roles?

🔹 How is the coding culture and peer group?

🔹 What should I focus on from 1st year to get a strong placement?

🔹 Are internships easy to get from this college?

🔹 If you had the chance again, would you still choose VIT Pune ENTC?

I’m from outside Maharashtra, so I’d also love to know about hostel/PG life, crowd, and overall environment.

I’m ready to work hard — I just want to make sure I’m choosing the right place to grow.

Would really appreciate any honest advice 🙏
