Will Jem and Tessa

Okay, I have mixed feelings about this love triangle. I loved Jem's character, and I know Tessa loved him, but I feel like he always ended up being Tessa's second choice. It might just be my perception, and I'm not saying I'm right, but it seems really strange to me. Tessa finds out what happened to Jem and immediately sleeps with Will, then marries Will and lives with him for years and they have children, but when Will dies she marries Jem and has children with him (I know there was a long gap between these events). It bothered me that I didn't like this last family because I wanted to see Tessa happy, but I feel like she was living a version of the life she had with Will, but this time with Jem in the modern world. Again, I don't mean to offend anyone; I thought the love they had for each other was very pure, but in my opinion, Tessa shouldn't have married Jem; they should have remained platonic.
