Watership Down (original), Mandela effect?

I watched this again recently with my kids (you know, to traumatise them the same as we were as kids), and there were so many scenes that I originally remembered, that weren’t in the film? Am I remembering it wrong?

I remember a scene when one of the rabbits were run over by a car.

I remember another scene when a rabbit was caught in barbed wire and died.

I remember seeing the first warrant completely destroyed, farmers vehicles actually killing the rabbits etc.

Is this a case of being a child and imagination filling the blanks, or did anyone else who watched it as a kid, remember it differently to when they watched it as an adult?

I’m talking about the film btw, not the more recent mini series.
