I want only the bed left in my room...
So, I hope your attention was caught by the headline, which is 70% true, heh-heh. Lately, I've noticed an overwhelming urge to sift through the things around me. It feels like there's too much of everything around me. I'd happily throw out most of my household items: figurines, random junk that's come from who knows where but has been gathering dust in one place for a couple of months, a broken device that someone in the family can't bring to the trash or to the repair shop... If you're asking about the sensations, it all seems to be visually noisy. Speaking of visual overload... I'd happily rip out the wallpaper in my room. They're absolutely disgusting: a monochromatic tone and an eye-catching print; they were designed for torture, honestly... (I live in this room because of circumstances, and if I try to do such a radical renovation, I'll get a slap on the wrist...) Back to the topic. I don't understand the point of storing something, just for the sake of storing it... (I know there are traumas that trigger this point, but still). If I had my way, I'd furnish my home as simply as possible: a mattress, a closet, a table. Clean surfaces. I want to understand the reason for this fascination with emptiness. The previously mentioned visual overload?
