Is it just me or the new update introduced some fps drops on PS5?

Yesterday evening before the patch game was smooth as butter, very rarely an dip in fps, except in one particular area, where the fps would tank dramatically, but today, the fps drops are almost consistent alongside visible tearing, is anyone else experiencing this or is just me?
