AITAH for refusing to pay my friend's share of our girls' trip after she canceled last minute but still expects me to cover her non-refundable costs?

Throwaway for privacy.

I'm (26F) and a group of 5 close girlfriends planned a 7-day bachelorette-style trip to Dubai for my birthday. We booked everything months in advance flights, luxury villa, excursions total per person around $2,400. My friend "Mia" (29F) was the most excited and paid her deposit.

Three weeks before departure, Mia backed out because "work emergency" and "family issues." We couldn't find a replacement in time, so the rest of us ate the extra costs on some shared bookings. The trip was incredible.

When we returned, Mia asked me (as the organizer) to "handle" her remaining $2,100 share because "the group already went and it's not fair I lose everything." I politely said no she canceled, the costs were non-refundable, and I had to cover extras myself. She got angry, accused me of being "petty over money," and told the group chat that I'm "richer than her" so it shouldn't matter.

Now half the girls are pressuring me to just pay it to keep the peace, saying "it's a friendship, not a business transaction." My sister thinks I'm right to hold the boundary. AITAH for not subsidizing her no-show, or am I being too strict with friends?

TL;DR: Friend canceled on our girls' Dubai trip after we paid non-refundable costs. Now wants me to cover her $2,100 anyway. I refused and she's making it a big friendship issue.
