Where to stay in seoul?
Me and three friends (all in our early/mid 20s) are travelling to seoul in late may. I'd like to stay somewhere well connected, not too touristy, that's lively but not rowdy (an area with cool bars but few nightclubs). Also, I'd like to go to an area with bars/cafes/restaurants that are like a mix of student + artsy vibes but with local flavour.
I've seen people saying that yeonnam largely fits this criteria, but from the videos I've seen online it seems a little to gentrified/bland and busy during the day for my taste. I've also heard euljiro is cool -- would anyone recommend there?
If anyone's been to athens, i would want to stay in an area similar to exarcheia, or with a similar vibe to marseille as a whole. obviously these are very different places, but what I mean is a good balance between being both bohemian and laid back.
