477M GammaOS Syncthing - File Permissions fix?

Just got a 477M in and flashed to install GammaOS. Mostly going very nicely and smooth but discovered an issue with permissions for Syncthing (I use it to sync states/saves).

When I navigate to the directory using the cog, it shows the '~/Android/data/' folder as empty, despite having emulators installed there. I saw there was a fix reported in January for a bug reported for the 476H but wondered if anyone had encountered similar / had any fix or workaround?
