Looking for something that won't lag when reps are doing 50+ door knocks a day. Convenience store and small grocery routes, mostly, and every CRM we've tested dies the second you're offline or trying to load photos at the third stop of the morning.

The problem isn't even the software most of the time, it's the bloat. Too many fields, too many required notes, workflows that force you to sit in the parking lot for five minutes after every visit. My reps are losing windshield time to admin. That's just dead money.

We've tried Salesforce field service, some smaller FMCG-specific stuff, and honestly half of them feel like they were built by people who've never actually done field visits. They'll tell you it's "mobile optimized" but then you load a page and it's still trying to render 47 form fields. And the photo capture? Half the time it's slower than just writing it down.

What we actually need - load fast on bad data connections first, that's table stakes. Capture the essentials maybe in under 60 seconds per stop. Sync in the background without freezing. Show me my pipeline without making the device work harder. Photo capture, basic notes, next visit date. Some of these platforms treat every field like it matters equally and that's where everything breaks down. Actually, wait - I need to be able to see what happened yesterday too so reps aren't double-calling.
