Why cheap armour isn’t necessarily “bad”

There’s a big difference between:
– “bad quality”
and
– “made for a different purpose”

Budget gear often gets judged by standards it was never meant to meet.

A 90€ helmet isn’t trying to compete with a custom 1000€ piece.

It’s meant to be:
– accessible
– usable for entry-level
– or suitable for display/theatre

The real issue isn’t the product.
It’s mismatched expectations.
