Another Pokemon from my Silksong project--[Wyronch](https://www.reddit.com/r/fakemon/comments/1s19ox5/silksong_gameboy_project_01_wyronch/)'s final branched evolution is something completely different! When Wyronch is exposed to a *Silken Core,* it evolves into something almost antithetical to its own nature: **Choironch**\--a slow, bulky Electric/Psychic special attacker!

Choironch is one of many anomalous evolutions caused by Silken Cores in the region, and they all have three things in common: 1) They tend to have complete opposite capabilities to their pre-evolution, 2) They all carry the ability **Harmonize**, which progressively boosts their highest stat the more Pokemon with Harmonize are in the team, and 3) Sometimes, these Pokemon will stop whatever it is they are doing, and stare in the direction of the largest mountain in the region--Mount Atrium--before beginning to sing. The cause of this behaviour is currently unknown, but has begun to rapidly increase in frequency lately, something that many people consider to be a bad omen...

\---

As a design, Choironch is based off two Silksong enemies: the Minister, and the Conchfly. These enemies, in game, have basically no relation to eachother. There is a story reason for merging them together here, but I cannot give them, as they are spoilers. If you're familiar with Silksong's lore tho, you should at least be able to guess *when* these guys came to be and what the purpose of their singing is!
