luffy was full on overwhelming doflamingo with gear 4 in dressrosa. he was getting overwhelmed by cracker the next arc. cracker is max yc2 or high end of yc3 level characters and that his how big the difference is.

we then had katakuri who was once again considerably stronger than luffy. luffy just stuck through all of it and eventually ended up ***beating*** katakuri but we know he wasnt stronger than him by the end of that fight (katakuri gave up)

a yc3-yc2 tier character is considerably stronger than all of pre-wholecake island opponents.

dont even get me started on how fodder the rest of the doflamingo family is. law got shat on by doflamingo like twice and a weaker law in punk hazard beat the daylights out of vergo in the rematch. vergo is stronger than everyone else in the doflamingo family btw. next is probably pica and he got fodderized by zoro so.

the difference between the navy and a yonko crew is also pretty god damn considerable.

aside from the main crew where the red-hair pirates win or the blackbeard pirates if you count kuzan win, the straw hat pirates have the best fleet by a long shot. the red-hair pirates' allies are famously weak. bb pirates are trash. cross guild fleet is trash. they have 1 yonko level fighter, 1 yc1 with wank level fighter, one god, and god knows how many fodder on their crew.

luffy's fleet is actually pretty strong. barto is good support, hakuba can easily clear marine fodder, new giant warrior pirates arent that bad as well. hajrudin is 1 shotting DR giants which means hes killing a giant in 1 hit. leo is the goat. i forgot the powers of sai and the other people so forgive me.

but overall, they have 5.6k+ members in their fleet.

the marineford war showed us how much stronger the navy is, whitebeard in his old age with heart attacks and what not, was arguably weaker than every admiral. he was struggling to use haki. he did minimal damage to akainu, got trolled by kizaru, didnt do anything to kuzan (neither did kuzan to wb but we're talking about the effectiveness of whitebeard here)

to back that up, go to egghead. luffy, who can solo his entire fleet pretty much, was unable to put down kizaru before he gassed out himself. even when he put him down, he was unable to put him down for long.

that is one of 3 admirals, who are all at least high-end relative to each other. greenbull and fujitora arent tiers below kizaru, akainu and kuzan opposed to the popular belief. then we have akainu, he has fought another admiral for 10 days. he changed the climate of the place permanently. he dropped ace, gave whitebeard 2 permanent wounds, dropped other fodder like ivankov, inazuma etc with ease. garp is currently chained up but thats a different matter to deal with if hes fighting. tsuru is narratively a good strategist. sengoku is a useless bumass bozo. the vice admirals have haki (half of straw hat main crew doesnt 🥀🥀).

the marines also have modern pacifistas. they may also have the seraphim at their disposal which are all at least commander level, s-hawk might be first-mate level soon enough.

tldr: a yonko first-mate or even a commander can beat the daylights out of any non-yonko crew. the navy can destroy a yonko crew and fleet.

people need to understand how weak non yonko pirate crews are. like king could genuinely mid diff all of the doflamingo family. theres a chance queen could do it too. and what the difference between the navy and a yonko crew is
