StubHub says "Venue Restriction" is blocking my resale. Is this a real thing or just an excuse?
My mother bought tickets that were incorrectly listed as regular seats, but turned out to be wheelchair/accessible seats. StubHub refused a refund, so I followed their instructions to "just resell them" on their site.
Here is the problem: The tickets are stuck and not appearing in the listings.
- I followed the process to pre-upload/transfer the tickets to the StubHub email address.
- On the Ticketmaster side, the status has been "Pending" for a long time.
- The tickets are NOT showing up as active listings on the StubHub site.
When I contacted support, they didn't fix the technical issue. Instead, they claimed there is a "Venue Restriction" preventing the listing. They are using this as an excuse to avoid fixing the stuck transfer.
Is there actually a "venue restriction" for BTS at Stanford, or is StubHub's system just glitched? Also, we are trying to manage this from Japan—could the international location/IP be causing some kind of technical sync issue between Ticketmaster and StubHub?
Has anyone else successfully listed/transferred tickets for this show? I'm exhausted...
