Evernote on Android (DeX and Google Desktop)
We are currently seeing the launch of the Google Desktop Experience (and for us in the Samsung Ecosystem, DeX has been around for long time) and i wanted to hear if anyone had feedback and experiences to share on the platform. This is meant to share the "good and the bad" experience as an Evernote User.
- In general i have always had a decent experience on the mobile app. Its neat, fast and decent integrated as experience within my mobile (android) side of things.
- On DeX the application layout and experience is a "bit less good" i feel the interface do not follow the settings on Dex (fonts, and borders of the application layout) is not super integrated.
- I feel less desire to use the AI features (that are present) - it seems to be a hit and miss and my own (on device, Samsung AI) is giving faster and better functional support (IMHO) than the offering from Evernote - and this is not the objective to downplay the Evernote AI, but integration to my phone defaults (It could be the Samsung, Gemini and i assume that it would be great if we could call the AI on our device) as enhancement to the application.
I would love to hear others feedback, i am slowly moving into a primarely DeX Daily usage, the value of having the one device with me all the time, is surely MY future way of working.
