Elden ring randomizer

Does anybody know whether the randomizers still work today? I would download the randomizer from nexusmods.
I kinda want to try a randomizer myself and embrace the chaos. I'd also like to know whether from has a problem with installing mods just for offline play?
I'd just follow a youtube vid and make an extra back up file for my current playthrough
