A lot of the story confusion could be fixed if they just gave Kliff some internal dialogues

The random "Go here and do this with zero context" is a pretty big issue. I'm 26 hours in, chapter 4 and I didn't expect it to be this bad, but it is. The thing is, these objectives DO make sense to some degree. It's just that they don't make sense until you get to the end of the chapter, usually.

I feel like a super easy way to fix this is to just add some dialogue where Kliff is talking to himself. Have him explain why he needs to do this random task. In the beginning you're just randomly doing shit, having Kliff say something like "I should look around Town and see if anyone needs help, get my bearings." would go a long way.
