Dad's Health issues

Good morning, good afternoon or goodnight

I need help, my dad (58~) has unfortunately had a recent spathe of health issues that has completely rocked him to his core and broken him

Since early January he has been suffering with severely itchy skin, what started out as small blotches has overtaken his entire body and is ongoing to date- doctors have prescribed him the generic epimax and a number of other pills and potions.

I'm not looking for doctors advice but honestly I'll take any advice people might have

the real issue is that me (m26) and my brother (M20) are struggling incredibly. For maybe the week prior we've been basically full time caring for my dad and his ailments- being woken up at night by him wailing due to how sore his skin is, being unable to walk from the skin on his hands and feet being dry and cracked.

He has become reliant on us in an unhealthy way and I don't know how to approach the conversation of stepping back and getting mine and my brother's life's back. I want to do right by him- we both do but it feels like all we are getting is front row seats to watch him suffer with no clear sign of what WE can do to make it better.

I'm sorry this has become more of a rant but I'll put it to Reddit because I'm so lost, I want my life back. I want my dad back.
