I’m setting up B2B outreach for IT & telecom services (USA, SMB 10–100 employees) which channel should I focus on first?
I was setting up B2B outreach for an IT & telecom services business targeting the US, and I realized something pretty quickly , choosing the right channel is harder than I expected.
My target is:
Companies with 10–100 employees
Industries: IT services, telecom, SaaS
Roles: founders, sales/marketing heads, IT managers
Budget is limited, so I can’t experiment everywhere at once. I need something that actually brings meetings consistently, not just impressions or clicks.
Here’s where I’m stuck:
Cold email — feels like it can work if targeting + personalization is done properly
LinkedIn outreach — but inboxes seem crowded now
Partnerships/channel sales — seems powerful but slower to set up
Content/SEO — good long-term, but I need traction faster
Paid ads — risky with a small budget
Right now I’m thinking instead of going “multi-channel,” it might be smarter to go deep on 1–2 channels first and get real results, then expand.
Main goal:
Book qualified meetings without burning budget
Would love to hear real experiences:
Which channel worked best for you in early stages?
What did you try that completely didn’t work?
If you had to start again, where would you focus first?
