RIP Francis - The Best Shrimp that Ever Shrimped

SpoilerShrimp/Snails/Inverts

So, yes, people love posting about their 40-year old plecos and their bettas and all of that, but I thought that my Francis deserved a post of her own.

Francis the amano was about three years old. For a shrimp, she had a lot of personality - she would come say hi if I walked past the tank and come sit by me if I was by the tank for an extended period.

She'd been originally kept in a 5 gallon with her betta buddy, Steri, then upgraded to a 10 gallon about a year in... and about two months ago, they both got moved to the new 55 I'd set up and cycled. Francis clearly loved the new tank, so I'm very glad that she got to enjoy it.

I hadn't seen her for the past couple of days, which was unusual. Found her this morning, and it's definitely not a molt. May she swim happily in the big tank in the sky.
