Feeling drained by hearing about sex
Hi peeps, I think it's my first post here. I've discovered I'm ace in 2023, and it's my main "queer" identity, though I'm bi(romantic).
I'm describing the following scene in a sex indifferent way, so sex-
Recently I was revisiting videos about assexuality, and came across a 'new' one, by CerosTelevision, and midway through it he describes a sex scene in such detail I could imagine it so vividly. By that listening, I just felt my body 'relax' and feel bad, but not in an achy way (though I want to describe it as hurting), just in I-can't-do-anything, I-want-to-fall way. I feel a non-existent, "imaterial" vibration in my temple muscles. My lungs feel compelled to contract and huff a single breath like a cough. Had it happened when I were walking I would visibly descrease my pace and make every movement slowlier.
I recalled it's a sensation I get quite automatically when some friend describes me something sexual I'm not acquainted with. So, when I'm playing with them and describing something kinda sexual it does affect them more than it does me (no one was hurt by my jokes, just shocked. It's just zoeira. I will not translate zoeira, I find it too brazilian for that.)
Now this fact makes me curious about other aces in the wild: Do you feel this drainage of energy when you hear something new sexually? Does it happen with sexual things you've hear before? Do you not feel a thing and it is just as any other topic you're not spelled by (like allos are)?
And is this serious/harmful? It does not look to harm me more than a simples break in my activity.
