Help needed ! new to Cachyos

I installed CachyOS a few days ago and tried running games through Lutris with Proton, but I’m running into multiple issues.

In Dying Light, textures are missing, characters turn black, and the environment becomes rainbow-colored. The game also crashes instead of exiting properly.

In Sekiro, it freezes during the opening cinematic.

In Resident Evil Village, performance drops to 5–10 FPS, while I get around 60 FPS on Windows.

I checked ProtonDB for fixes but couldn’t find anything helpful. I’m also not very familiar with Linux or how NVIDIA drivers behave here. I’m currently using NVIDIA driver version 580.

On Windows, most of these games worked fine. The only issue I had was in Resident Evil Village, where FPS dropped from 60 to ~20 after about 30 minutes — which is one of the main reasons I wanted to try Linux. Sekiro ran at a stable ~50 FPS on Windows, so I assume something is wrong with my Linux setup.

My system: GTX 960 2GB, i5-9600K, 16GB DDR4 RAM.

If anyone has faced similar issues with a GTX 960 (Driver version 580.88) on Linux or knows any fixes, better drivers, or even a more suitable distro for this hardware, I’d really appreciate the help. I’m new to Linux, so any guidance would help.
