wrangling front away from a part in full blown denial

Advice/Solutions

not sure if anyone will have advice we don't know already but figured we might as well ask.

We are in college and for whatever reason being in that environment is causing an alter who is frankly not very good at existing (major anxiety holder + has a lot of problems with self hatred/socialization, ect) to front basically 24/7. Even when other parts are able to front this alter is co conscious in some respect. We would love to be more social/make more friends/feel better in general but it doesn't seem possible when this alter is present.

The problem is that this alter is having a really hard time accepting that we have a dissociative disorder, so isn't really able to give over front easily or ask for help in headspace when they're having problems in meatspace. Has anyone had similar problems? Does anyone have ideas for ways we can, at the very least, make college more comfortable for this alter so they are less freaked out constantly? thanks for any input you have
