I got told my great uncle was a member of the Leibstandarte, I found a photo of his death card and got some information from Ancestry. Other than that I think I need to put a request into Ancestry, he died in 1942 and therefore I no nothing personal about him. I'm asking here basically what's the best approach to find his SS file I think its called.
