Immature MIL & FB

My emotionally immature MIL has decades of bad behavior. Essentially, she wanted my husband to replace his father who divorced her. Upon him marrying me she started acting out. It's been two decades now and she has never addressed her personal issues instead blaming me for him 'leaving her'.

We have limited contact with her as a result. We also live out of the country far from her. My husband went on a work trip and she said she happened to be visiting the same city for a protest & wanted to visit him.

He has a hard time saying no to her although he has put limits on her over the years. I am fine with him visiting her. During the visit she asked him to stop by to see her for one minute at the protest. While he was there she snapped a pic of them together. For context they also went to lunch outside of the protest etc where she snapped many pics. Most of the visit was not at this protest at all.

She likes trying to get us to fight. I never discuss politics with her or post politics on social media where I am not very active. My husband has no social media and told her this is by choice as he doesn't like content on him online. We have a business and I don't want my business image as political content.

Once he gets home at midnight she posts online tagging me and typing out both of our full names saying we're both a part of this protest. No other pictures just thus one. I blocked her but am so sick of her petty crap!

I am astonished that anyone would want to spend their golden years bothering others. Imo it's not her place to be linking me to this garbage! It's bad for our business. Even if my husband had hypothetically agreed to any of this it has nothing to do with me and she should not be tagging me in it!

She also told him to let me know she was going to visit us for the holidays which she has been banned from for decades due to her crying tantrums and disrespectful unstable behavior. He told her she could visit after the holiday which I told him no to because she has a habit of trying to "recreate" the holiday/drama at those times. I don't want to be a part of this anymore!
