Has a previous/ex talking stage or situationship ever reached out to you? Did you give it another chance?

As the title suggest, I am torn on being a little persistent to have another chance with someone I was trying to court before for a month (pinatigil niya ako manligaw due to feeling guilty of still having resurfaced feelings for her ex after our last date where we became intimate, and naghihintay pa siya for him). She offered a kind of fwb/situationship setup but I refused since hopeless romantic ako and need ko ng exclusivity and assurance. We decided to end things for the sake of my mental health na rin since ayaw na niya ako masaktan pa at ayaw ko rin maging rebound.

However, now I am contemplating reaching out once in a while for the possibility na baka bigyan pa niya ako another chance or mag stay on no contact at mag reach out na lang ako after 6-12 months of self-improvement and to give space na rin for moving on sa ex niya. For context, we ended things amicably, unfriended but not blocked ako sa ig at may access ako sa number at messenger niya.

Provided you are single and a previous situationship reached out to you in a couple of months, would you give him a chance?
