AA lounge access when flying Business to Mexico?

Flying DFW → SJD soon on American Airlines in Business Class, and I’m AAdvantage Gold.

AA’s website says international Business Class gets Admirals Club access, and Mexico is listed under their “international” regions. But I’ve always heard that Mexico/Caribbean/Canada don’t count as “qualifying international” for lounge access on AA metal.

Does anyone know for sure whether Business Class to Mexico actually gets you in, or if AA still treats these routes as non‑qualifying?

Trying to figure out if I need to buy a day pass at DFW.
