A little update for everyone who has been worried about Tux. Sorry for the delays! Everything is juggling right nowwww.

The good thing is that it doesn’t appear to be an infection, which honestly gave us so much relief. 🥺❤️ This was the moment of truth for us, and we’re beyond thankful that it’s something less severe than what we feared.

It looks like Tux’s sneezing may have been triggered by dust, with the biggest factors being the place and the litter sand. The blood we saw in his mucus may have happened because his nasal passage was already irritated or slightly damaged from repeated sneezing. Bloodworks shows slight elevation on wbc, but it might be because of the stress only. He’s on medication right now.

For the litter sand, it has already been ordered and fully paid for. The only reason it hasn’t arrived yet is because of the holiday delays.

This whole situation honestly reminded me why I badly want to move them into a more permanent, cleaner, and safer place. A space with less dust and better airflow would make such a huge difference not just for Tux, but for all of our rescues.

I’m slowly saving up for that goal, and if anyone would like to chip in to help us secure a permanent place, it would mean so much for their long-term health and safety. We have pay-links in our highlights. 🙏🏼

Thank you for always being here for Tux and for believing in the future we want for our rescues. 🐾✨

UPDATE | Tux sneezing isn’t an infection. Litter sand was already ordered too. Thank you so much for the support! 🥺❤️
