Thought I'd share this

Casual

Many of us have or are clocking that age where you keep feeling like you have run out of time.

I came across a TikTok video of a non-african lady who indeed made sense of the popular Kenyan saying, "Life begins at 40."

So here's how she put it but I've paraphrased it.

You see in your 30s, you haven't run out of time because for 18 years you were a child. Up to 25 years, you were still not in full control of your decisions. 25-30 years, you were learning and exploring things. Now in your 30s is when you're beginning your real adulthood since you now know what you like/want and what you don't like/want.

When you look at it this way, you're your age minus 30 years adult. So, don't put so much pressure into feeling left behind because 40 going up is when life truly begins.
