Should I continue my IT degree or switch to becoming an electrician?

Hi everyone, I’m currently in my first year studying Economic Informatics, but I’m starting to feel like it might not be the right fit for me. I do like the idea of having an office job, but lately I’ve been concerned about the future of IT, especially with AI potentially replacing some roles.

Because of that, I’ve been considering switching paths and learning a trade, like becoming an electrician. I’m not sure if I should continue with my degree or make a change now while it’s still early.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or can offer some advice?Tnk.
