Gabapentine and serlift

Hello!!

So recently my depression got that worse that I started somehow hallucinating, like I see (but not proper see) & feel a presence around me.

I was prescribed gabapentine 300mg and serlift 50mg. I'm on the 5th day, somehow I feel better, even tough I don't really feel like myself anymore, the hallucinations (dr called them illusions) are going slower as time and intensity.

The fact is that this Gabapentine makes me think extremly slow and sometimes forget or misplace things, I want to state that before this treatment i didn't have these simptoms.

Should I hope that after some time (1 year, idk) will go off of gabapentine?
