Urgent help required

I’m posting here in utter desperation now. I graduated in 2017 from a college in Pune but there was an error in my name and the course name in the degree. Due to some personal circumstances I haven’t been able to return to Pune since then (Parent’s death, Covid, multiple deaths in the family, marriage etc.), I don’t stay in India for context.

I have reached out to the college but the university is very strict about me personally being present to get this name change done in the degree. Looking for any advice please. Is there some way in which someone can go on my behalf to get this process done? I am even willing to pay if there are any services available for this process. Thank you
