Describe pain

Describe what pain feels like to you.

I’m coming to the conclusion that I have a very high pain tolerance and I describe pain differently than most people.

I’ve had 2 C-sections, a tonsillectomy, gallbladder removed and wisdom teeth with dry socket. I’ve never taken anything stronger than Ibuprofen and Tylenol and that was only for the tonsillectomy.

To me there’s burning, stinging, tightness, pressure or swelling, cramping, muscle soreness, muscle spasms but in my mind that’s not pain.

Now with being diagnosed with MS, I think it’s important to understand how other people describe pain.
