37NB - Disabled poet looking for genuine friends
I’m a writer living a very slow-paced, housebound life due to being chronically ill and disabled. I'm also neurodivergent. It can be lonely. I’m looking for friends who put care into their connections. Asking questions, mutual support, being there for each other.
I’m currently working on a poetry manuscript and spend a lot of time listening to music, making playlists, watching TV, doing some cozy gaming.
I’m looking for other creatives, neurodivergents, queer folks, and/or disabled people who want to be real with each other.
I don't enjoy toxic positivity or forced optimism. I've been through a lot and I'm a realist. I care about what's going on in the world. I appreciate friends who can be comfortable with themessy realities of my life without trying to fix or ignore them.
Looking for strictly platonic, LGBTQ+ friendly, and left-leaning friends.
If you think it might be a good fit, tell me about yourself, and I’d love to hear what you’ve been listening to, playing, or working on lately.
